Dreamspell or Long count?

​​The Mayan tribes of Central America had dozens of different calendars for counting time, seasons, agriculture, and sacred ceremonies. There is one calendar that has survived thousands of years, and is still familiar to us today, and it is the Tzolkin calendar - the sacred count of 260 'days' the basis of all their calendars.


Towards the end of the millennium, a man named Jose Arguelles claimed to be the reincarnation of the great ruler of Palenque in Mexico (Pacal Votan) and that he had received channeling and insights to spread the sacred count throughout the entire world, as a tool to save it from extinction. He and his wife changed the order of the count of days, added additional layers to the symbols, which are known as the Galactic Seal or signature, also, he 'discovered' the Galactic Activation Portal days.
So, at 1987 they brought into the world the enchanted cycle – named the Dreamspell. Their mission was to spread this count of time around the world, and it seems they have succeeded to do so.

So, it turns out that we have a galactic seal according to the Dreamspell and we have the ancient original seal, according to the Mayan calendar which is used in Central America, different from the symbol we got at the Dreamspell.
These are different conversions of the same table (20:13), still, these are the same 20 sun signs (bearing different names, even through Central America) and 13 lunar tones (frequencies), again, with a difference between the names, but not in the sequence.

From my personal experience, I learned that the Galactic Seal is our earthly road-map, and the symbol on the classical Mayan calendar is our soul chart. and they are synchronized. I know this, after a quarter of a century of decoding galactic birth-dates ;))

So back to the subject, after 30 years, thanks to the Dreamspell & the 13 moon calendar, the awareness to the Tzolkin calendar and the sacred count based on the 20:13 ratio - began to trickle down to the Western collective consciousness.

And immediately a debate began! what symbol is today?? What energies does it bring? Of a Reed or of Earth of a Mirror or a Jaguar? Or maybe both?  Well, imagine how many 'dates' there are for the same day among all calendars? The Christians, the Jews and Muslims, Hindus or Mayan, all of them use other names to the months, different counts, different numbers and even letters or symbols..
And yet it is the same day, and its expression is realized for each individual according to his reality and her sight.

Actually, the debate is about what is the REAL Mayan calendar ?! 
But, there is no debate! Because it is clear that the Dreamspell is not the original Tzolkin!

The Dreamspell is based on the Tzolkin calendar the Mayan holy calendar, Arguelles himself said so, perhaps did not explain enough, that the 'upgrade' he made to the Tzolkin is adapted to the acceleration of times and their density, as it has actually been proven over the years, this count works, and the 13 moon calendar allows better synchronization with the course of events.

It can be said that Arguelles simplified the symbols for the 'western mind' by 'squaring' them (turning into a square) and flattening the calendar into a 3D rectangle.
But in reality, the Tzolkin board according to the Dreamspell, brought a leap of perception towards time for many people, and great interest in the original classical calendar, which until recently was not really known outside the borders of Central America.
The symbols in the classical calendar are more complexed in their appearance and names too, and their location on the board is different, but still, these are the same  powerfull 20 symbols in the same sequence, only the count starts in a different place (symbol).

Now, this debate wouldn't have been started without the Dreamspell!
After all, anyone who really wanted to dive deeper into the Maya calendar, quickly learned  that the Dreamspell is a relatively new calendar, and that It's origin is the classic long count, which the same day got other symbol.

To my opinion, if there are people who call the Dreamspell the Tzolkin, it's not so bad, or a huge mistake, because if they know the 20 symbols and 13 tones, they know the Tzolkin, no matter where they start counting from.  These are the same 20 powerful symbols carrying a special codes that awakens deep coding within us, humans.

It's quit clear that there is only one 'true' Tzolkin, and that the Dreamspell is a wonderful gift which humanity received towards the end of the millennium, a significant tool in cracking the Matrix, and a bridge to go in-depth study of the holy Tzolkin calendar.


I'm honored and grateful to José Argüelles and the 13 moon movement for exposing me to this magnificent tool for cracking the mysteries of time & space.. years ago,  like many people I learned about the Mayan calendar through the Dreamspell, still I respect the Mayan teachers of Central America, I cherish their teachings, even though they do not recognize the contribution of the Dreamspell to human evolution, and that's a bit of a shame.. There shouldn't be an argument here, in my opinion, there is a place for both calendars,  And I will do my best to explain to those who ask, the difference between them.
